For teachers making the choice to tag standards, you now have the ability to tag assignments to standards across grade content areas and/or grade levels. For example, if you are a 5th grade teacher who teaches students working on Grade 6 mathematics standards as part of Advanced Academics, you now have the ability to tag the assignment to the Grade 6 mathematic standards.   First, follow the settings below to update your Standards Settings.

1. From your gradebook, begin by opening your gradebook settings by selecting “Settings” from the left navigation bar.
2. Next, select the “Standards Settings” Tab
3.  Scroll down the page to “Standards Filtering”
4, Choose from the  Standards Filtering Options:
  • To be able to tag an assignment to standards across content areas, select the check box next to “All Subjects”
  • To be able to tag an assignment to standards across grade levels, select the check box next to “All Grade Levels”

(You may select one or both)

5.  Finally, select save settings

6.  Now when you create a new assignment in your gradebook you will have the ability to tag each assignment to standards across grade content areas and/or grade levels.  For details on how to tag standards, see the Tagging Standards page.

Note: Tagging Standards is OPTIONAL.
