Directions for School Administrators to Enable Text-to-Speech in Bulk

Directions for School Administrators to Enable Text-to-Speech in Bulk

Reminder: The Text-to-Speech tool will need to be selected under Test Settings so it can be utilized by students.

The School Administrators will work with the IEP chair to identify students who have it on their plan (IEP or 504) in SPS.

1. Select "Students" on the left side menu.

2. Hover over Bulk Actions button and select "Manage Text-to-Speech Support."

3. In the pop-up window, move students from the left column to the right column by clicking on their name.

4. You may also enter the student ID or Student name in the search field at the bottom to speed the process.

5. Note: Text-to-Speech can be enabled for all students in a school, or a select bunch.

6. Once done, select the green "Save" button that then enables teachers to choose the Text-to-Speech tool in their test/quiz settings.
