Turn-Ins for Students
How to Turn In an Assignment

1. Select the class for which you would like to turn in an assignment. Then, choose "Turn-Ins" in the left sidebar of the page. |

2. Next, select the title of the assignment you want to turn in to your teacher. |
|
3. On this screen you will see any details about the assignment, including any attachments that the teacher has provided. You have three options for submitting your assignment:
a. Add File
b. Add Link
c. Add Text/Multimedia
d. Recording

a. Add File: You may upload a file (up to 10 MB) from your computer.
|
|
b. Add Link: You may submit the link to a product or assignment you've completed using an online tool, such as Office 365 or a Discovery Board. |
|
c. Add Text/Multimedia: You can use the rich text editor to type a response and include images, audio and video files in the body of your text. |
|
d. Recording: You may record a response to a turn-in directly in the assignment. See step-by-step instructions below.

4. After selecting continue, you have the option to add additional files/links/text to your submission. Then, review your submission, add a comment if desired, and select "Submit Turn-In." After submitting, you can continue to add additional submissions. |

Recording a Turn-In

1. Open the Turn-Ins assignment. When you first select the turn-in, you will need to "allow" Engrade to access your microphone. |

2. Select the Microphone Icon under the Turn-in Box, then select the grey box that says “click here to record” to start recording. Select the same box again to finish your recording. There is a 3 minute limit for their recording. You may only have one recording per turn in, but can turn in other formats with the recording. |

3. Once you end the recording, you will receive a message that says "Audio recording added successfully!" If you are satisfied with your recording and finished adding all items to your turn-in, select "Submit Turn-In." |

4. If you would like to re-record, select the grey box to record and erase your original recording. |

How to View Feedback from your Teacher for a Turn-In

1. Select the class for which you would like to view feedback on a turn-in assignment. Then, choose "Turn-Ins" in the left sidebar of the page. |

2. Select the title of assignment for which you would like to view teacher feedback. |
|
3. The score and teacher comments will be visible above where your submission is displayed. |
