Launched Assessments | Allows for collection of classroom, school-wide, and system-wide data for the purpose of adjusting support to students and teachers, revising curriculum, enhancing curriculum and/or providing professional development. Curriculum administrators must manage the release and access of the assessment. Teachers cannot view these assessments in the course map. |
Unit level pre-assessments, Summative Unit Assessments, End of Unit Performance Tasks, Other Major Unit Assessments |
Embedded Assessments | Included directly in the course map for teachers to assign to students during instruction and provide feedback. Results are used to adjust ongoing teaching and learning. | Formative Assessments |
