1. Select the folder to which you would like to add materials. The folder will be outlined in blue when it is selected, In this example, the item will be added to the Lesson 2 folder. | |
2. On the right side, select the type of material you would like to add and follow the prompts to add the material. You may add links, files, tests, repository items and additional folders. See details below for each type of material. | |
3. After the material has been added, it will appear inside the folder. In this example the material "Frogs and Toads"was added from the repository to the Lesson 2 folder. | |
4. To move an item within a folder or to another folder in the course map, simply drag and drop. In this example, "Frogs and Toads" is being moved from the Lesson 2 folder to the Lesson 1 folder. |
Files that students may need access to can be added directly to a unit or lesson folder in a course map. Adding files to the course maps will allow teachers to add them directly to lesson tiles.
The following is a list of file types that can be added:
Documents: pdf, doc, xls, ppt, pps, pub, docx, xlsx, xltx, pptx, ppsx, dotx, potx, odt, odp, ods, sxw, sdw, sxi, sxc, kes, flipchart
Images: jpg, jpeg, png, bmp, gif
Music: wav, mp3, midi, mus
Video: mov, avi, wmv, mpg, mpeg, asx, mp2, tgz, zip, gz, tar
Other: txt, csv, xml, html, htm, rtf, wxi

External links that students may need access to can be added directly to a folder in a course map. Adding links to the course map folders will allow teachers to add them directly to lesson tiles.
